The Knights of Columbus Council #11660 honored John and Jodi Frunzi along with their son Michael as “Family of the Month” for September at the Knights Sunday Honors Breakfast October 11 in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help School gym in Highlands. Special honors were paid to Jodi’s husband, Michael’s dad John, who was unable to be present for the ceremony and congratulations of local residents attending the festive event dure to a heavy work schedule.
The family was also honored to have Father Cosmos, a priest visiting from Nigeria,, participate in the ceremony at the Breakfast.

Council Grand Knight Mike Napolitano introduced the family to the gathering and presented the award certificate and a small gift from the Knights to the family.
In praising the Christian and family practices the Funzi family has exhibited and practiced throughout their more than 30years as parishioners of the OLPH St Agnes parish, Grand Knight Napolitano noted that the head of the family’s absence from the ceremony is typical of his dedication to keeping promises and keeping his word to a commitment. Napolitano highlighted that even his work effort epitomized his devotion to the family and the close connection the trio feels to each other.
Father Cosmos also congratulated the family and expressed his own thanks for being able to be a part of the special ceremony in their honor.
