A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Monday, August 31 at noon, to celebrate the completion of renovations and restoration at Overlook Park, Route 36 at Miller Street, Highlands.
The public is invited to the ceremony, and parking is available at the Highlands Borough parking lot on Route 36, across from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Plans for the restoration were first prepared four years ago.
Renovations are also nearing completion of the Frank Hall Park, named for a former borough Mayor, and located on Miller Hill on the site of the former water department facility. That site will include a bocce court as well as seating area with outstanding views.
